Hi there,

In my previous post i’ve said that the servers are going to run with Punkbuster.
Unfortunatly the following had to be true.

As a few of our beautiful community members know…
I (Sensei) had bought the game for our company called LBi Lost Boys. Where we could play CoD4 with co-workers.
A few months later we had an wordwide Hamachi community running within the walls of the company. That was really great!
So I thought lets go public then! On a real server with a real IP-adress…

But here is where it went wrong… in the begingen we had used a no-wait patch from Gamecopyworld
This was not accepted by neighter Punkbuster nor by Infinity Ward! (Why… can’t I decide wether to use another .exe file or not! I paid for the game right).

But Punkbuster is now being a pain in the ass!
I’ve requested a unban action from there side on… just because I’ve reinstalled my servers with the original .exe files… (Just the way they like it right).
After 26 hours… finally a reply… stating the following!

The use of cracked servers is neither allowed nor tolerated by either the games publisher/developer or Even Balance. We ban server IP addresses from the PunkBuster system based on requests by the game’s publisher/developer.

Yeah… right! they only read a text file where our server is listed for having a non original .exe nothing more nothing less.
So bare this one with me… I wasn’t happy about this at all! especially when i replied them… explaining this whole story… and afterwards… not having a word of replie what so ever… not even today…

What is wrong… paying customers have to suffer now as well? is this the reason why they are calling them selfs Even balance?????

Tell me… what shall I do with this???
Give me some good advise… and I’ll try to use it

Hi all,

We will have some maintenance issues tomorrow on thursday the 28th of January late in the evening.
Me and an other LBi Lost Boys employee need to move the physical server from one place to another place. This means that I have to take the server down.

How late will I start? I really dont know…
How long will it take? Even there I cant give you an direct anwser.

LBi Lost Boys | HC SnD – | 24/7 (no Marty/GL) – cod.lostboys.nl

LBi Lost Boys | Blog site and Forum.
Pretty much everything will go down…
